About
Matthew Cordasco, CEO.
Matthew is a serial entrepreneur, analytics expert, web designer and software
architect, who leads the company’s vision, product strategy and development.
He developed the Overstat concept after working with numerous web clients and
dealing with the inadequacies of existing analytics tools. Prior to Overstat
he founded, built and sold ISYS, a successful web-engineering company of over
100 people. He has developed over 200 websites for companies including Amazon,
Cisco, and Ross Stores (the only US retail website with a global Top 10
ranking).He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Rhode Island.
On weekends you can find him racing sailboats on San Francisco Bay.
Trevor Hughes,COO
Trevor is a unique visionary within the software industry, and has built a
variety of successful companies and products. Prior to Overstat he was CEO
at Star Analytics, a venture-funded startup, and he was also on the original
team at Arbor Software, the company that created the OLAP analytics market.
He holds a BS (with honors) in Computer Science & Software Engineering from
the University of Birmingham, UK. In his spare time he likes to play and
record music.
Jim Thompson, CFOs
Jim is a finance, operations and business modeling expert, who prior
to Overstat has worked with or consulted for 12 start up companies, including
Fuego Nation where he worked with Matthew. He holds a bachelor’s and Master's
degree in finance.
Andrew Alderson, Director of User Experience
Andrew is an exceptionally talented user interface developer who has spent
over a decade architecting, designing and developing Rich Internet Applications
and IT solutions for a host of Fortune 1000 companies including Mercedes Benz, Dell
and Reebok. His deep technical knowledge of scalable user interface architectures,
his work in creative and interactive agencies and his experience leading
teams in creating web-based solutions have all allowed him to create superior user
experiences and aesthetics. He is well-known in the worldwide Adobe Community, managed the Calgary Flash User Group as well as founded and managed the Calgary Flex
User Group. He holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts from The University of Calgary.
Richard Deslonde, Director of Engineering
Richard has spent the past decade performing database design, migration,
warehousing and BI solutions. Focused around Microsoft technologies his
solutions have ranged from complex reporting apps to iron clad Fortune
500 systems. His passion for Indian Food is only surpassed by his passion
for Flamenco Guitar.
Jenifer Bailey, Senior Designer
Jen is a senior visual designer and art director with over 10 years of experience helping
Fortune 500 companies, start-ups and creative agencies plan and execute thoughtful user-centered
visual design. She has worked on projects ranging from web-based applications and brand marketing
efforts to consumer facing and b2b websites, included: Yahoo!, Intuit/TurboTax, Intel, Visa,
Ask.com, Halogen Network and Togetherville. Jen has a passion for gourmet cooking and adventurous
cuisine.
